Tired of spinning this front end for nothing,Wait until you pull all that crap and see how much extra dead weight you're actually turning.Hell, just the short side axle assembly is 25 pounds. The passenger is side is about 10 lbs heaviers. Front driveshaft is about 20 lbs. Front ring and pinion are about 15 lbs. That's almost 100 lbs of dead, rotating weight, plus friction.
BTW, I use red loc-tite on almost everything.Just use a drop on each bolt and it's fine. It's ain't coming out on it's own, but it's not bad to get out.
Stupid question, but here goes... So now to engage 4WD you have to get out and manually lock both front hubs, then get back in the cab and shift the transfer case?
