2009 Durango MW/FM radio problem
« on: June 11, 2015, 02:44:50 pm »
Hello guys,

I have the 2009 Durango Limited with Hemi v8. The car comes with Alpine audio system with touch screen. The past week the radio stations stops working both MW and FM. The internal HDD and AUX still works fine, just MW/FM radios stops to work.

I took off the radio and check antenna cables and all is well connected. Anyone has the same issue or know how to solve it.

Thanks in advance.

Jorge

pull the battery for at least a few hours... you don't have to take it out, just disconnect it, both terminals.

Thanks bikemancs.

The car settings or other electronic devices doesn't be affected with that?

Thanks

That shouldn't have happened... the battery is still good right?  Double check your fuses and such.  The battery should have just allowed everything to reboot, like your computer.

If everything else works ok, and it's just the radio, you may have luck talking to a rep at Crutchfield.com.  They are some awesome car audio guys... might be able to assist.  they have a live chat too.

Hi Bikemancs.

I'll check battery and fuses.

Thanks
