When the software is completely done, you will have the ability to alter the timing, fuel, or other perimeters yourself.

Put 90 hp injectors in and adjust the fuel pulse yourself, tune for more fuel mileage by removing the boost while holding a steady cruise. Want to lower egt's while towing, you can add more boost, You will have the ability to adjust the tuning yourself rather than relying a someone else to do it.

Right now the software will allow us to download the tune from the truck. They are working on the ability to data log  the ecm.

Right now you can download the tune, they are working on the tuning aspect. They have not giving a time frame, but if it is like the Duramax, they come out with the software quickly.

So as of now it's just x# of tunes that can be uses; like Smarty, Bullie Dog, Banks, and all the rest.

But the future may hold something different.

What about the trans?  Any plans to tap into that?

From what I have seen, the ability to read the ecm is already set, they are showing of the fact that they can data log the ecm so the the records can be used to alter tuning.

Shortly we should be able to actually alter the tables in the ecm.

The are working on the transmission aspect of tuning also.

Jo, it's not like the Smarty, Edge, etc. where you select a tune that is premade by the programmer manufacturer.

You make your own tunes, or if you're not saavy with the software you buy another license and have someone do your tuning for you.
