Auto Meter Dash Pod Install
First you have to remove the dash cover
Take a flat tipped screwdriver, Starting at one side and slowly prying it up
Once you pry the front edge up just pull it to you
Now place the pod between the two air vents and lightly mark with a pencil the outside edges of the Pod
I then found that the screw hole one the left was 2 in and 1 ½ up
The right Screw hole was 2 in and Ύ up
Once you have measured and are sure your measurements are right Drill the holes to to mount the bracket that holds the Pod down with a 3/16 hole ( I drilled it a little bigger to insure proper fit front to back )
Now secure the bracket down and make sure you can install the Pod easily after it is in place ( I had to bend the ends of the bracket up a little so the screw holes on the side of the Pod will fit )
You want to be able to take the Pod on and off easily when it is on the dash
Now you need to mark for a hole for the wires to pass through 3 back from the bracket and drill a ½ to 5/8 hole
Next I plugged the thermal coupling wires into the male harness and placed the boost tube on the harness and used wire ties to secure it together down to where the harness splits
Run the harness through the hole that you drilled ( I did not plug into the gauges yet )
Find a path through the dash. I had to drill a hole in the plastic under the dash cover.
Now run the harness down through the dash
Now to penetrate the fire wall I removed the plate that covers the hole where your clutch peddle would be if you had a manual trans, Drill a hole in it for the grommets supplied, I used a 31/64
Drill
The rest has been covered in other DIYs on here so I wont go into that
Just find your power, install your thermal coupling, and your boost bolt and your trans temp and your done
