Title: driveline help

i was wondering the spicer u joint numbers for the front driveshaft of a 2004 Ram 2500. i have one gone in the cv section but was going to replace all three. where she was used when i bought her. id like to start out fresh. i know the two in the cv are different than than the front one. But the parts store here where im too almost like livin in the middle of no where can only find autosence part numbers.  thanks

You don't want to use the Spicers in the AAM shafts.

They're .010" too large and they bind the joint.

The only way to use them in a stock shaft is to machine .010" off either the end caps or the circle clips.

All of AAM's stuff is odd ball size.

Best bet with those is ordering the AAM joints.

The only other ones I've seen fit good are the Autozone Gold's and Neapco's.

Thanks i can get my hands on the neapco ones ... never heard of em before ... all i like to use in the tractors and that is spicer so wanted to stay with what im use to ... but thanks for the heads up ill give them a try
