Title: No Start
Post by: burgymi on December 10, 2012, 05:19:33 pm
I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 5.9. My truck has been sitting for a week I get constant turn over until I kill the battery. I have changed the plugs, cap and rotor, still nothing. I have sprayed the air intake with ether still nothing. The reason I have done all these things is, because in the past I have had moisture getting in my cap, but a change of the cap and rotor with a little silicon grease so moisture does not enter have worked in the past but not this time. I am however going to check for spark at the coil when someone gets home to help me. Any other things I should check? It has to be a spark issue, but I am starting to go crazy...  :banging: :censored:

Have you changed the plug wires? The coil is notorious for corroding and killing all spark. I'd pull the wire off the coil and check that first.
