I have a 99 ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.9 and I'm burning oil like nobody's business. I did some research and most people point to the plenum gasket as being the problem. I'm ordering the hughes kit but I'm not the smartest man when it comes to mechanics. I was reading over one of the links on the site, but it's been inactive for over 120 days so my question is; Will this walk through work if I try and follow it on my 5.9? If not, does anyone have some advice?

it's the exact same job for the 5.9 as the 5.2.
they use the same heads and intake.
to check if it's blown, take the air tube off and open the throttle body and using a flashlight to look down into the intake manifold. if there is a pool of oil, it's bad.
