2004 service manual

Trying to help a buddy out, anyone got the 2004 service manual for a 1500.  Seems that the downloads on hemitruckclub have been pulled.

Front...Removal
SHOCK - 4X4
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
Support the lower control arm outboard end.
Remove the upper shock nut and with the insulator and retainer.
Remove the lower shock bolt.
Remove the shock
Pic one is for front...

1 - INSULATOR & RETAINER
2 - NUT
3 - SHOCK ABSORBER
4 - BOLT

Install
SHOCK - 4X4
Install the upper part of the shock into the frame bracket with the insulators and retainers .
Install the nut and Tighten to 54 N·m (40 ft. lbs.).
Install the lower part of the shock into the lower control arm and Tighten the bolt to 135 N·m (100 ft. lbs.) .
Remove the support from the lower control arm outboard end.
Install the tire and wheel assembly .
Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

Rear..

REMOVAL
Raise vehicle and support the axle.
NOTE: The rear upper shock attachment uses a flag nut. Do not use an air tool to remove the bolt, the flag may rotate into the bottom of the bed and cause damage. Use a wrench to hold the nut when loosening.

Remove the upper shock bolt and nut.
Remove the lower shock bolt and nut.
Remove the rear shock absorber from the vehicle.
Pic 2 is the rear..
1 - NUT
2 - AXLE
3 - SHOCK ABSORBER



INSTALLATION
Position the shock absorber in the brackets.
Install the bolts through the brackets and the shock. Install the flag nut on the top bolt and nut on lower bolt.
Tighten the upper and lower bolt/nuts Tighten to 135 N.m (100 ft. lbs.)
Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

Thanks Dave.  That will take care of his current question.  Of course, I think he's only thinking about shocks since I just did mine ;)   Pretty much looks like I thought it was.
