Will these tires fit???
« on: December 31, 2009, 01:58:44 am »
I have 23k miles on the stock good years and they still have some tread left but I'm starting to look at possible replacements.  Everything I've read about the Cooper LTZ's has been good.  I have the stock 20's.  Will a 305/50/20 fit my truck with out any modifications or should I stick with the 275/60/20 stock size?  There is not much price difference for the two sizes and I've been thinking of ordering some since tire prices keep going up.  What do you guys/gals think?

They'll fit, no problem.

That's the size I'm going to next.

Yeah, I'm probably gonna put a set of Toyo Proxes S/T's on.

I'll probably do 305/55/20 so it stays at 33's.

I need something that hooks better than the Pro-Comp's.

Those would look pretty good.  I'm still a fan of Pro-Comps I had some on the CTD that I had before this truck.

I like my Pro-Comp's but they're too hard.

They wear awesome, even after all teh abuse I've put them through, but they don't hook real well on launches.

I need something a little softer and stickier.
