Ok, so i've been really busy with work and other stuff that has postponed the truck. Just today i took the flywheel to my uncle and it should be done tomorrow, and depending on the work schedule, have the truck back together this week. But in the mean time, I do have pics. My throwout bearing was completely f***ed up. I mean it was in a couple different pieces when i found it. And then the wear pins on the pressure plate had been ground down some, it was definitely time for fixing. While everythings out the trans and t-case are getting a good pressure washing tomorrow.

This pin had fallen off of the throwout bearing and was laying in the bottom of the bell housing

Old and new

top is the new pressure plate and bottom is the old

old t/o bearing

That's some dirty stuff right there..

Any idea what the t-case weighed?  I'm about to pull mine (as you know form our pm's) and I'm curious.

Good luck putting it back together.

Your asking the wrong guy on weight estimates, i'm horrible at it. But my brother and i were able to easily pull it from under the truck.

I bowered a pressure washer today and didn't get them spotless but i got them a whole lot cleaner than what they were.

I pick the flywheel up tomorrow night and hope to get it all back together very quickly. And i also picked up a new pilot bushing, figured i'd do that while i can get to it easily.

Yea - you were due for that clutch

Make sure you wire brush that input shaft really good, and try to get the rust off - VERY LIGHT film of grease

Clean the area where the throwout bearing will ride and give it a bit more grease
