Headlights
« on: March 23, 2010, 11:28:19 pm »
So I think I am going to buy the night runner headlights.  My question is right now I don't have the turn signal or reflector bar that is under the headlight, only on the side.  This isn't going to be a problem.  Anybody have those on their truck.  Does that portion light up?  I'd like to see it if I could.

The bulb connectors are different between the '06's and '07's.

You'll need to splice them.

Why don't you just take the stock lights apart and paint them black? It would be cheaper to do, even if you had a shop do them for you.

I've only done one 06'+ headlamp painting... and its not an easy task. If you are considering paying the money for them now, I promise you, once you try prying the clear cover from the housing... you will wish you just bought new ones  :$:

Question? If your looking to buy new headlamps for looks... why don't you purchase projectors and get more performance/ visibility too?

I just bought some new bulbs and those helped out tremendously.  I'm going to keep looking around but I swear the only ones they make are for 06-08 trucks and there not the same as what I've already got.  We'll see.

Thanks.
