Well, I have gotten the go-ahead to bring my parents' camper down!
Officially it sleeps 8.  It has 4 beds (including a bed over the cab) and so far the only people I have sleeping in the camper is myself, my boyfriend, and (ick) Batman13.  Let me know if there are any other takers.  I will be calling the campground tomorrow to reserve my spot.

Just a heads up:

I just called and found out what i needed to do to be arriving as late as i have planned, and it turned into a 25 minute conversation. (lol). That guy really likes to talk! Sounds like a really nice guy though.

He was telling me that if i was going to use my GPS, that it will most likely say "you have arrived" at the wrong spot on Dry Creek Rd. He said that you will have to keep going down a little ways until you find a 'paved' road with a swimming pool near by along with the office and a propane filling station.

He said that the dirt road is NOT what you are suppose to take to get into the camp ground, and that its usually the road that everyone's GPS will leave you to.

Again, he told me so much that i ran out of paper to write on so this is all i have. I hope it helps!

Good to know.   Reading that, I now remember that very same directions (think I read it somewhere on they're website?). Something about staying on the paved road. I'm sure I'll fly by it anyway, usually do.  :argh:  Speaking of which, I received the banner from Rich today, I'm all packed up, minus the things I'll be forgetting  :banging:  hitched up and ready to roll. Haven't really figured out how I'm getting there yet. So shouldn't take me anymore than 6-12 hours.   Actually, depending on when I roll out of the rack, I'm aiming for arrival somewhere between 1-3 in the afternoon.

Hell, it's like pushing around a go-kart right now with the drive line removed.

You put a finger on the tire and it'll move.

It takes more effort to push the block and the trans around the shop than it does to move the truck.
