When I bought my bike in 05, the security system was listed as standard equipment.  Now that annoying alarm is extra.  I would have to add that if I wanted it.  The Soft Tail when the security system is engaged just disables the ignition if the bike is moved.  And, to set and disable I have to point the fob at the left handle bar controls.  Like I said, I haven't had any problems.  I usually keep mine on the key as well.  And, it travels in my pocket when ridding.  That is why I forgot it one day and sent it through the wash.

Congrats on the new Bike!! I seriously considered that same Bike in that same color scheme before I bought the Wing. Then of course there was the Limited version in Harley Black and Orange that I was drooling over but I just couldn't make my self spend the $$.

Congrats!! And that is one fine damn Bike!!

When did they start putting security systems on Harley's? I mean, I had one on my '87 but it was stashed in the saddle bags.

Semi-automatic  or revolver?  ;D

Well, my revolver has a 8 3/8" barrel so kinda hard to 'travel'.  ;D  My factory security system consisted of a padlock for the forks.

Walking in, ran into this beauty:

White Pearl and Black Ice Pearl (looks more purple)

Then saw this...

Vivid Black/Brilliant Silver Pearl     :leg:

I was torn, both have spoke wheels (which are a PITA to clean, but look awesome)

but decided on the black

Pick it up tomorrow  :punk:

I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight!  :banging:
Looks to me like you could go either way. Personally, I went with the Wing, had an 86 Aspencade b4,now have an 08 1800.Great for you though, couldn't wait to pick up mine either!
Born to travel!
