Yeah, someone calls on our way home, more than a little sloshed. You even remember that phone call Bat?

Sorry Sue and I bailed Saturday evening guys. Ended up one of our kids had their name come up on an apartment they had been waiting on and their move in date ended up being Saturday.    We got in about 1:00am Sunday, got a few hours sleep, going to wash the 800 miles of road grime off my truck and move a little furniture today. Did have a great day despite the wet weather. 

Will get out pictures up shortly. Ohio must have gotten dumped on with rain on the way home we saw alot of flooded secondary streets and the drainage ditch along I-70 (or I-79) was almost up to the interstate and all but covering the seven foot chain link fence that runs along side the road.


Side story....

Sue and I are cruising Friday to the get together, we are on Interstate 68 in western Maryland in the Deep Creek Lake area. Cruise is set at 70mph and I'm in the right lane. I look in my mirror and I see this nice 2nd gen dually rolling up about half a mile back in the left lane. As it gets closer the truck starts to look a tad familiar, you know, red shiny, belching black smoke pulling the mountain grades. I'm thinking nah, can't be. Sure enough a few minutes later Tom K and BART blow by us on his was to Indy, small world.

Alright, here comes my visuals!

But first, i want to say that even know the weather was about as good as a STD, and the fact that the group ended up to be really small considering what it could of been... I had a GREAT time! Its really nice to be able to get together once in a while and meet members on a personal level. It was great to camp with you guys (Dale, Vicki, Bat, Ken) and it was nice to put a face to the names of Chad and Sue (Both GREAT people!), im looking forward to the next mess that we get to be a part of!;D

On a side story before i get to the carnage, i just want to give a quick shout out to mother nature.....

That WHORE rained on me two weekends in a row while i tried to have a nice weekend away in my tent. Not only did she rain on me while camping both weekends, but she also rained on my tent AGAIN when i got home from both outings while i was trying to dry the tent in the front yard. I now have the tent in the same place i did last weekend after my trip, in the cold basement because its too wet outside for it to dry. Thanks mother nature...

Now... For the goodies!

First i have a few pulls that we seen. These were the cooler ones towards the end that were in some kind of unlimited class. The smoke factor that day was AMAZING! Im still blowing it out of my nose!
