Got me a Bike!
« on: June 16, 2010, 02:50:00 pm »
It's a 2005 Honda Shadow 750 Spirit

This is the day that I bought it

You know its impossible to get something and not do any mods to it. I made my own rigid lowering kit and a side mount license plate braket. And its louder, i cut one of the baffles out of each pipe  :43:

That's a sweet looking bike.  With all the new bikes, you guys could start another forum just off the members here.

Nice!

Man - with that rigid rear suspension, you better watch the bumps - you'll get progressively shorter!

Wow, that is the nicest looking Shadow I have ever seen. Be careful on that. Joes are stupid too andfrom work, they are always on their phones, and never look for bikes.

it does get rough on some of the bumps, i got good at hovering off the seat though, lol. Im going to make a springer seat for it soon

Ditto on both. I want a springer seat as well. Defensive driving is the only to go. Especially in a military town.

Nice lookin bike, I like the flat black.
Another bit of advice on riding, don't be an ass, I've had soo many bikes jump out in front me, jump over in my lane with no signals, tailgate like there's no tomorrow

be safe out there, protect your dome

it aint low till it scars asphalt

Funny you should say that. Yesterday I saw a soldier in ACUs riding his bike with his PC on his head, and his helmet on his handle bar. WTF is what I was thinking. What a frigging moron.

Man I miss my bike.  Had a CBR 1000F.  Sold it to help buy the house. Be careful out there..

This is not my bike but is a web pic.  Mine looked almost just like this one, except mine had a red wind shield and a Vance and Hines exhaust.
