Yes Jo they are my pics, the top one is from a local steam on the side of the road. The fall is actually the tallest in NH, Ill google the name and update :lol:

My tripod is a $40 or so cheapy from Best Buy and other than me breaking it trying to get pics of a catfish that was in water soooo shallow that its dorsal fin was out of water. They didnt come out and I had a lightly broken tripod as a result  :pout:

edit: ok so got to use the pout smiley :D
AND its Arethusa Falls, it was about a 2 mile hike from where we parked. Worth it even tho it made me realise JUST how out of shape I am  :pout:

Im surprised the alternate use for the tri-pod has not been mentioned yet!  :whistling:

It would be another reason to get yourself to spend the money.

Great photos Jo! Them black and whites came out real nice. I especially like the one with the hanging flowers.  :up: And yes, a tripod is mandatory for advanced photos. Doesn't need to be expensive, just solid.
