Interchangable a/c compressor

I posted in the for sale section that my brother smashed up his 99 caravan. Would anyone know if the a/c compressor from his van would fit my
truck? He has the v6 3.8L, would that matter? I'm going to go there on thursday to help him salvage whatever parts we can and try to sell on
Ebay and stuff like that. I don't care for A/C so much that I'm going to spend a few hundred for it to work, but If I can put his part in and it will work that'll be fine by me. I'll know thursday or friday I'll let ya's know how I make out.

Best bet would be to call a dealer and see if the part numbers are the same.  Maybe Dave (Parts/Sevice) can look it up.

You might be able to "rig" something up, but As a direct replacement, I would say no...

I went and looked at it. I don't think I can. I'm going back tonight to take pics of the seats and a few other things that people are intrested in.
I'll take another look I may pull it out If I do I'll let ya know if it works. thanks
