And they used powder extinguishers?!?!?! That sucks for any electronics under the hood!!

That's because in most sanctioned pulling events, you have to have 2 bolts that form an X going through the exhaust pipe within 6 inches of the turbo outlet to prevent that.

What you usually find is pieces in the bottom of the intercooler and a nice spiral cut where the turbine wheel exits the turbo.
