Putting a ride together Aug 15th- tell me what you think... [UPDATED] **AGAIN**

Anyone in the area want to join in?  You don't need to have a bike - you could follow with a car or truck...

Ride to Shanksville Memorial 

Rt 695 North/West to Rt 45 (York Rd) North to Middletown Rd (Left)
Plan to stop in Hereford/Mt Carmel Road area for "P" break/gas/soda or water
Middletown Road North to PA route 851 (Right)
PA 851 to PA 216 (Left)
PA 216 to PA 116 (Left) Follow 116 thru Hanover (several turns)
Plan to stop in Hanover, PA area for "P" break/gas/soda or water
At traffic circle in Gettysburg, proceed on PA route 30 (Lincoln Hwy)
Plan to stop in Chambersburg, PA area for "P" break/gas/soda or water
Plan to stop in Bedford, PA area for "P" break/gas/soda or water
Arrive at the Memorial

Spend an hour or two there, and then return to home base

Can either follow the same route, or catch Rt 70 in Breezewood, and return trip will be about 3 hours

The trip out will be about 4 hours, plus the stops, so plan on a FULL day

I'm going to post a thread about it with the Maryland branch of the Patriot Guard Riders as well as a couple other riding groups

Let me know if you plan to attend, and if there's enough people, I may set up some kind of refreshment/chase vehicle support.

I wouldn't of been able to make it either day it turns out.  My wife's car got a flat Friday morning and all the tire shops around here didn't have one in stock.  So she got to drive my truck to work all weekend since I didn't want her driving back and forth on 95 with a doughnut.
