Exhaust pipe
« on: August 08, 2010, 01:10:32 pm »
I got this lying around. If anyone wants it just pay shipping and its yours. Its 10" in diameter, roughly 3ft by 3ft in length. I'd have to gauge it, but its steel about .120 wall. Its a diesel exhaust elbow originally for a Dresser strip mining truck. Warning: it weighs about 50lbs.

I MAY BE OLD, BUT I GOT TO SEE ALL THE GOOD BANDS.....

Actually your close. This piece was used both as part of the exhaust and the fresh air intake. Depending on installation, there are other pieces welded onto this one. I remember the engineers from Dresser saying that by switching from an 8" intake to a 10" intake gained them 150hp.
