It has been at the mechanic for almost a week now. When I dropped it off it was with the understanding that I wanted it done for Friday. Well he didn't even start working on it until Friday, he calls me Friday about 4 and says the stuff I had him do was done then he tells me that it needs a new shift cable from the control box to the motor and that he won't let the boat go until that is done because he doesn't feel it is safe. I told him that I would deal with it Monday as we were already at the lake. He then tells me that I need to come in and pay him for the work he has done so far, I tell him that we are out at the lake, he tells me that "thats ok I'm open until 2 tomorrow and you really need to pay me for what I have done so far so that I can pay my guys tomorrow."
I never went to the shop, just got back from the lake a little bit ago but I will go in tomorrow, pay for the work I requsted and take my boat even if it means getting the
involved.
