Shock bushings
« on: August 23, 2010, 01:19:05 am »
I have developed a hard noise coming from the rear end since I have moved, and I figured it was my exhaust since I had broken that hanger. So I was playing with the exhaust, and I decided to look deeper into everything. Turns out, my rear shock bushings are DONE. Not even there anymore, except the outer ends that didn't have any contact with the shock. So, they are coming out tonight, and getting replaced. Gonna get some new shocks soon as well. I don't like these SkyJacker's, they don't hold my rear end down at all on any terrain, not even rough pavement.

Can't find the extra shocks I had lying around. Still haven't been able to find my garage. So I looked and looked, moved a bunch of boxes into the house, got a little organized, and went and washed my truck at the car wash with the pressure washer, knocked a bunch of the dirt off underneath, so it will be easier to work with. The mud has been building up over the past month from all this rain we have been getting out here, and when all my friends live out in the desert down muddy dirt roads, I just left it all there.

No, I am looking for the 5 extra shocks SkyJacker had sent me before they finally sent me the correct ones I had ordered.
