Difference between w100 and w150...
« on: October 20, 2010, 04:08:58 pm »
Does anyone know the difference? I found a w-100 that is pretty straight, 4x4 318 4spd manual long bed standard cab. It looks nice, and the guy is only asking $1000.

Buford's right in that the 'D' is for 2wd and the 'W' is for 4wd. The difference between the 100 and 150 (same thing for Ford's F-100 and F-150) is that the W-100 was the 'economy' model. Usually low performance, manual trans, economy version. Similar to GM's late '80s and early '90s W/T or work trucks. Just your basic truck.

I MAY BE OLD, BUT I GOT TO SEE ALL THE GOOD BANDS.....

Rear springs. The 150 had a larger spring pack increasing payload. Same motors and auto available.  Some of your nicer trim levels ie LE Were only avalible in the 150s though.
