I've been talking with Buzzy about the forum's expenses. To date, there are about 14 of us that made monetary donations of various amounts to support this great forum.

One of the most distinctive differences between our forum and the old Df, is of course there are no flashing obnoxious commercial ads in your face. That was Buzzy's foremost idea on creating this forum, but on the down side, with no income from advertisements, the revenues must come from voluntary donations from the members.

According to Buzzy, we're doing ok, but we're in the red. It's not a dire situation, but I don't want to see us have to make changes that we may regret.

I know that times are hard on some folks, and if that's the case, remember that your family comes first. This site will find ways to make it.
If on the other hand, you feel compelled to help in anyway you can, anything is appreciated.

I don't normally stand out in a crowd shaking a can or passing a hat, but this is worth any humiliation brought on me, that's OK.

So.......start digging those coins out of the sofa cushion and support this place!

I looked for 25 mins yesterday tring to find the donation thread. After going thru every page in news and info section I went to use the search and there it was. I felt like an idiot.
