Well its hunting season. I didn't get drawn, so I was spotting for my buddy's. Just a few pics and a short video of the landscape.
Since it is a auto forum, I will cater to that first. Here is a shot of my truck full of the famous Arizona pin striping.
My truck sitting at the bottom of the hill we were sitting on.
Landscape to the North.
Here's a 360 Video of where were at, during this particular excursion.
And a shot of one of the special odometer pics everyone likes to take.
The desert hunt didn't net us anything. Didn't see a single deer. The hunt turned into a 4 hour off road trip, which was friggin awesome. Nothing I enjoy more in the world than wheeling in my Desert. I put about 120 miles on my truck in 4wd today. Went through some stuff that most of yall would cringe at. Good thing my buddy does body work to get the scratches out.
After we got out of the Desert, we hit the farm fields just before the end of legal light. In 45 minutes, we saw 15 deer. On my way home, I saw 3 more. Almost hit the last one I saw. The last herd we had seen had 3 bucks! The only bucks we had seen in those 45 minutes.
So first thing tomorrow morning, my buddy is going to be on the fields. Another buddy of mine got a spike
but its better than nothing, and it was his first deer. So I am happy for him. He took him at the fields early in the morning, where we had seen the 15 just at dusk.
