what are you watching in the olympics

whats your favorite sport(s) to watch?
im into the kayaks, BMX, and cross country bike

the one sport i wanted to compete in is not sanctioned, downhill mountain bike.

i am into the bmx, and cross country cycling. I just wish they had downhill in the olympics like batman said.

hay batman, do you downhill? do you race or just ride for fun. I currently downhill/freeride for fun but am working at improving my skills to the point that i can race next season. My brother and some of his friends put on a couple dh races up here every year so i have been helping them with that, its so much fun

i used to when i got the chance (meaning trip to WVA) for fun, theres absolutly nothing downhill up here, its all flat

i was getting into urban freeride (with a full susp. mtb) since thats all there is to do around here

but then i trashed my foot and now i can tell you when its gonna rain

and lil, i have the same question, but i will be watching the womens trampoline....

Holy Crap! That is like the fat kid at summer camp that couldn't play a real sport event.

And what's that other damn backyard game?.....the one with the little birdie thing?

I know it's a kinder, gentler, be-more-politically-correct type society know, but DAMN IT, it someone has no athletic ability, don't make up BS events just so they can participate.

That's what the friggin Special Olympics are for.

Lets see...looking at what they've added in the last 20 years....it's not ALL fat camp 'sports'...but yeah there are a couple good ones:

Badminton - Olympic sport since 1992

Table Tennis - Olympic sport since 1988

Trampoline - Olympic discipline of Gymnastics since 1999

THE most extreme form of biking and they don't like it as a sport

ya i hear ya batman. i think its a joke that they haven't added downhill yet. I have heard talk though that they are talking about adding it to the 2012 summer games, hopefully they follow through with that

Whatever AFN Decides to show, or whatever a South Korean is doing real well in, and I don't have to understand it.

Personnally I don't get Judo, I think?  all it is is trying to flip your opponent onto his or her back...  where's the MMA Fighting?  That I'd watch in a second...

It has been nice to watch Phelps bust record after record.
