Tires
« on: January 04, 2011, 03:29:36 am »
Anyone have any opinions on  tires? Since my used tire hunt is not working, i'm gonna buy new ones next week. I'm thinking about the Cooper SST's in a 35x12.5, which i can get mounted and out the door for $1,100, or i can get the Toyo Open Country M/T's in the same size for about $1,300. And right now, i'm leaning more towards the extra money and getting the Toyo's, i've heard nothing but good about them, and most people say they last a while. But i've also heard a lot of good about the Coopers. Anyone else know of a good tire that maybe i should look into?

My brother did quite a bit of research on those tires and found a lot of good about them. I'll ask about price tomorrow.

My buddy has 35" Toyo MT's on his F250 and loves them.  He got a good deal which is why he ended up with them but they are nice.

I went with the Coopers, mainly because he was able to get them ordered and put on the truck all in one day. They're a 315/75/16. They don't rub at all, not very loud on the road at high way speeds, and look pretty great on the truck.
