How to request a sig. (10 guidelines)
« on: July 07, 2008, 09:56:57 pm »
1. Include pics or direct links to pics you would like used.

2. Mention any specific colors you would like used.

3. Also mention any design ideas, (this is usually the hardest part) its simple, mention if you want it dark, industrial, bright, cheery, kweer, bloody, rock hard.....  all thats needed is a word or 2.

4. Specify any specific needs, like any special font style, picture layout or even if you want a certain picture that you can't find, many PS gurus have a knack for finding odd pics.

5. Your interests are not important to the artist but they will help us customize your sig to make you even happier.

6. It's OK to ask for changes, seriously, the idea is for you to be happy, if i like it and you don't, no hard feelings. but nitpik and you're done

7. Forum rules will be followed, i don't care how much you love XXX or KKK, its not going in your sig. at least not by me (unless you're a mod ;) )

8. Pass the word as to the artist to others, keep the guy or lady busy. many artists don't ghost names into the sig, but i've seen it done (rude IMO)

9. If you expect miracles the first time around you may be dissapointed

10. Enjoy it, get bored, ask for another.

Awesome list, I've always hated to have to go out and find the images for someone's sig.  Number 6 is also very important.  If I make a sig for somebody, I'd rather they ask for changes made rather than use it for two weeks and then ask for a new one.
