Big Rig Nationals/Mid-Atlantic G2G
« on: April 05, 2011, 06:04:33 pm »
Big Rig Nationals are coming to MIR once again this year on May 21st.  I know Tom probably won't be able to make it due to a prior engagement, but who else is going?

I'll be racing the Dak once again in the Tuff Truck ET bracket.

Eric, last year we had an absolute blast (except for Belle and Kitty turning into lobsters).  Watching the working big rigs roll down the track was awesome!  Here's the link from last year's event...http://www.dodgeownerforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=12201.0 .

Mike, you better be there!  Dual of the Daks part Deux!!

Touche.

I'ma guess these runs dow the track are gonna be a tad bit faster than the first dual lmao.

Are there practice rounds for dialing in the et at this event? The silver truck has yet to see the track :(

Yeah, I believe I got 3 timed runs last year then eliminations.  I lost in the first round as I was in my old white truck with the 5 spd and I went up against a Silverado with a auto.  I'm hoping to be more consistant as now I have a auto as well, but I'll admit, it's not as fun to drive sometimes as a 5 spd :( .

I'm planning on hitting Cecil tonight for some testing.  Wanna see what the difference is with the Superchips on performance vs. stock.

from what i've read, ppl get a better response from tow/haul. adds a lil more torque

with tonight being t&t, I was gonna try them all out and see which works best.  If I get there at 6 I should be able to get 7-8 runs in total if it gets crowded.  Last time I went up right at 6 I had 4 runs in by 7 lol.  Gonna space them out tonight to let the engine cool aliitle.

"Now up at the line is BART, Tom K ?, Tom Kil ??, ok just Tom K......."

That was absolutely hilarious!!!

And I didn't make it to the track last night as I found out I have a screw in my right rear tire :( , time to go and get that plugged first.
