lets talk turkey
« on: April 25, 2011, 05:21:02 pm »
couple of pics of the birds we shot this year in missouri
doubled on these two with my buddies dad on thursday.  his (left) weighed 19 lbs, had a 10.5 inches beard and 3/4 inch spurs.  mine was the same but weighed 21 lbs:

these 2 were doubles also with me and my buddy on friday.  his (left) weighed 22.5 lbs had an 11 7/8 inch beard and 1 1/8 spurs.  mine was 26.2 lbs had a 12 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs.  by far the biggest turkey i've ever shot out there:

got some muddy pics of the truck i'll get up later.

anyone else have any luck?

I turkey hunt but just haven't had a moment of free time to go do it. My brother and I tried to go Easter morning but plans fell through. I've been seeing birds everywhere though.
