Anyone near Phoenix that could check out a motor?

I'm on a local to MN diesel forum and a guy is looking for someone to check out a motor.  Thought I'd check to see if anyone around here was able to help out.  If anyone is, I'll just get you two in contact.

I am looking to find someone that either lives in phoenix or has family that does that i can trust to check out a motor for me. I am a little bit reluctant to send off a check to someone across the country and hope my motor shows up a week later.
All i am looking for is someone to go meet with the guy at his business address and take a look at the motor and take a couple of pics and get a feel for the guy.
Im not asking you to hand over any money or deal with anything like that. Just to do some scouting for me.
If anyone can help out it would be greatly appreciated and could be something in it for you/them too.
