Replacing power mirror housing on 06 Ram
« on: July 27, 2011, 03:02:04 pm »
SOn backed truck out of the garage last night and caught the black plastic Passenger side mirror clamshell housing on the garage door frame.   Its one of those towing mirrors that flips out.  He cracked the clamshell and broke out a piece.  It looks simple to replace if I can figure out how to dismantle it without breaking it further.  Any experience here?

I saw somewhere instructions on how to remove the mirror from the housing but now cannot find them.  Does anyone know the details?
