Did notice this morning that this is not the original motor. The motor plate has been beefed up, notched a little and one of the rollcage bars would be going right through the block. So one of the things I'd like to look into is moving the motor to the front of the motor plate get that weight forward or above the axle at least

yea, trying to find a good clutch to put on, any ideas? i gotta stand on the brakes to keep it stopped and its got a wobble to it, gonna try to put some spacer washers in that might solve the wobble but i have a feeling the clutch itself is toast, cant find any brand name on it just feels cheap

It looks like the standard K-Mart gocart clutch..
Look up racing go-carts, might find something there.

Clutch is on the way, it is rated up to 8HP and the engagement is around 2300, so it should work...
If not its on to a tq converter... definantly would make it quicker and faster overall... But 3xthe money and who knows how long itll take to put in with the mount fab and adding a jackshaft...if the clutch fails I will probly go that route
