Red Ram Got Bagged (pics)

As I Said In My Other Post - I Got Bags For RedRam - I Got A Steal From A Guy In Michigan Who Had Them In Stock... I Ordered Them At 3PM And Had Then By 11AM The Next Day.

The Install Was VERY VERY VERY Easy - It Was All Self Explanatory & The Instructions Where One Page W/ Diagrams.

I Went With Firestone 5,000 Pound Bags - I Decided To Just Get The Bags Because I Had A Compressor From An Old Rancho System W/ Gauge & Relief Switch. It Did Not Work- The Rancho System Used Dramatically Smaller Hose Then The Firestone's. Sooo.. I Had To Install Them The Good Old Fashion Way With Air Zerks.

At 70PSI (Required By Firestone To Check For Leaks) It Lifted My Truck 3"



I Loaded The Backup Porsche & On The Steel Trailer - It Did Even remotely Sag My Truck. If ANY Of You Are Thinking About Doing This - D O  I T !!!

Baggin' The Ford Next And Putting The 10,000 Pound Bags On The F350 Next Week. Also Expect A DIY On This.

looks good. wheres the compressor? and if you dont have a built in compressor, can you just use an external compressor and blow em up that way (got a 250 psi portable compr)

No Compressor Thats What The Rear Zerks Are For.. My Compressor Didn't Work For The Firestones Without Some Ghetto Adapting.

Now you just need to drop the rear axle and paint it up so it matches that new harware under there.

sweet, heres a tidbit,not to nitpick
that hose near the exaust, even though it is wrapped, will most likely blow, i've seen them further away and wrapped blow out from the heat, esp if there is pressure in the lines.

I Know The Lines Are Good To Go.. I Took A Trip Round Town Sitting In Rush Hour And Came Back To My Shop - Parked It, Jumped Out, Felt The Lines While The Motor Was Running = No Heat What So Ever.

you eventually gonna run any compressors and/or tanks red?
would give you ultimate control of your ride,
think of sitting next to a chevy boy at a light,
let him talk shit, when the light nears green, lift the rear the 3"....

Glad You Said That - I Have A Compressor But It Uses 1/4" OD Lines... It Is For The Rancho System.  But It's Easy Enough To Air Up My Bags When I Hook Up The Trailer.
