Being that I can't root for Auburn in the National Championship, there is only one team I can root for......ANYBODY BUT 'BAMA!



Hoping the BCS actually comes to their senses and puts OSU in the BCS Championship game not 'bama...

The first half of the SEC championship game had me a little concerned, Georgia was notched up 100+ percent. The second half was like another game entirely. The Dogs just didn't have the juice to stay up in that intensity level. Blow Out City!

We've played Bama already, I'd like to see OSU meet us here in New Orleans.

Gotta tell ya, the Dome's gonna be Rockin no matter who plays the Tigers for the title.

Yup, I wanna see OSU in here.

'bama had their chance. They didn't win their conference, they didn't get into their conference championship and the had an easier schedule than OSU.

OSU played more Top 25 teams than Alabama did and they had a better record against those Top 25 teams.

I just think the BCS has a hard on for Alabama.

Yeah....if there's a Walmart near by, you can pretty much be guaranteed to run into a Mullephant.

If you want to really get 'em....just break out a map of Alabama and tell the to point to Tuscaloosa. Most of them have no idea where it even is.

Being that it's LSU and Alabama, looks like a 'home game' for both sides.

Being a U of M fan, there are only 3 important goals per year...

1. Beat the snot outta Ohio State
2. Win the Big Ten championship
3. Win the Rose Bowl

Gotta say that the New Orleans area is going nuts about LSU in the BCS Championship game. Being at the Superdome will be a blast. I have been hearing mixed reviews about Bama being there also.

I'm with Rich on this one.......Bama didn't win their Conference much less the Championship game.

I just hope that LSU beats the Snot out of em!

The Mullephant is just my rip on Alabamas mascot.

Their mascot is an elephant and the average Alabama fan either at one point in their life had or will have a mullet.

Most have never set foot in a college classroom. Most couldn't even point to where Tuscaloosa is on a map.

That is a Mullephant.....an elephant with a mullet.

That picture actually came about from a Facebook conversation.

A friend of mine didnt like Alabama fans being stereotyped as redneck, ignorant, etc., but he made a childish comment about the trees being poisoned and I told him that was very low class.

Then he proceeded to tell me that doesnt represent all Alabama fans, etc.

Well, we went to the Auburn / Alabama game and some shit weed Alabama fans had Updyke tree service shirts made up. Harvey Updyke is the guy that poisoned the trees.

Well, one of his Facebook friends said, "I'd wear one of those!" and I flame sprayed her dumb ass and then told him, you see...that right there is why Alabama fans are viewed as redneck hilljacks.

You can walk into almost any resturant, bar, whatever and you can almost pick out who is an Alabama fan.

From that conversation I made the Mullephant.

I keep givng all the Alabama fan a hard time.

I tell them that Alabama is being looked at kind of like the whole baseball steroid thing....They simply have an (*) asterisk next to their name.

(*) Played, but.....only because Nick Saban blew the entire BCS Committee.

The whole BCS thing is strictly a money deal to me anyhow. The computer results, which are more unbiased than the other two, have OSU #2 and Alabama #3. OSU hasn't been widely talked about nationally since Barry Sanders was there, and LSU and Alabama are talked about every day of the year in the sports news. So, LSU vs Alabama would draw more money than LSU vs OSU.

That's why for me 4 out of every 5 years the Rose Bowl is big game for me. What about that one year you may ask? Why that's the year they sell there soul for the mighty dollar. Sorry, derailed the thread a little. If I have to pick one, I'm gonna go with LSU for the win.
