Didn't you pull that truck out of the mud a couple years back with the Bomb'r?

Aaaaaaand this ROTM is for the tow rig, not the fast one. So beating up on Mustangs is irrelevant  :tt2:

Yeah, and that was like the last time it saw a dirt road.

So... Why am I in this, haha.  Have two stages planned for the truck, and I haven't even done the first one yet.

All ive done so far is a heater plug, slush mats and cut the back seat up, haha.

So I guess I'll just say what I'm gonna do.

Stage 1:
Mini max
H&s intake horn
H&s cooler delete
S&b intake
4" turbo back exhaust
Overhead console and tpms if I can

Stage 2:
Lift
Steering box brace
Tires
Headache rack with some auxiliary lights
On board air

It is my day off... and the trail head IS my backyard... And I can be at 12000 feet in about ten minutes... Maybe I'll see what I can do for pics.

Well, I failed with the pics. I could only get so far up the trail with these worthless tires.

I did find out that the stability control does work with it in 4x4 (I was starting to think that it didn't). I was coming up over a hill/curve at speed (snow packed road) and their was a cattle guard buried in the snow at the top, between that and the exhaust brake it kicked out but the stability crap brought it right back.

And I found out that the exhaust brake alone will screw you up coming down an icy road.

I had a good drift going (bout 40-45mph, snow packed fire road) but man that stupid stability just won't let it happen. Plus side it works really well, if you're into that sort of thing, haha.

I got stuck a couple times thanks to no ground clearance and crappy tires. But, I was surprised how smooth the stock suspension and hard ass tires were on the wash board.

Here is the pictures I took...

Rich, your truck looks MUCH better with the black mirrors! It might look even better yet if you get em painted to match like noplugs did.

Aaron - AWESOME pics dude! You've gotta do sumthin with that heater plug though before it beats your finish up!

Donny I won't paint the mirrors. They get flipped around, moved, etc....I'd simply be chipping paint.

One of the main reasons I wanted the black was the glare that came off the shiny surface. Always seemed like whereve the sun was it would glare off the chrome.

Blacked out tails and Xenon headlights and fogs on the way.

And no, no friggin Recon crap.

Went with Anzo's for the tails.

Still need to pull the trigger on my tonneau cover and air bags.
