Son now owns a 2nd gen.
« on: March 11, 2012, 02:38:13 am »
My son just bought himself a '95 short box 4x4. Runs like new, 77k on the clock. Got a little rust on her though.   When he brought it home I remembered seeing pics of Rich's 'half time' and how perfect and rust free it was, at a cost of $500 or so. Well, this is what $1400 gets you in the great state of Michigan. In case you are wondering, this was a great deal for a 4x4. Most are in worse shape and closer to 200k in miles. I think a little buffing will bring her around.

Lol. I mean the rust. I remember when Eric got his 06 from Minnesota, and had the front end components replaced under warranty due to rust. I can't imagine what that thing looks like underneath being almost 20 years old.

Sure as hell don't let him wash it...
Mud breaks loose and the truck falls apart.

She's a little rusty underneath, but not to the point of worry. She's got a few years left before it gets classified as 'beater'. He had to pull his wife's uncle's truck out of the mud with a horse trailer attached. Afterwards he was told that he could 'play in the field all he wants'. The truck is currently brown colored.  :fart:
