Yea, I know I'm lucky.  My grandpa bought the 160 acres in 1957 for $7500.  He gave it to me and all I have to do is pay property taxes on it every year.

Those are some really nice deer.  Where are you hunting?  I've been managing my property for about 5 years now trying to increase the quality of the bucks and it is finally starting to pay off.  Hopefully someday I'll be able to show off a picture like that.

I wish I had pictures of some of the bueats my pop's has brought home over the years.

But how about this for a visual....know how bit a California King water bed is? (to save time on google it's 72 inches wide by 84 inches long).  Dad took down a Roosevelt and had the hide tanned and then used it as a bed spread.  It's HUGE!

my uncle has 36 acres down south ohio, (in the hills)
super dense, a few of his 4wheeler trails and a small cabin,
land hasnt been hunted in many years...
well, until he bought it anyways, lol, deer flock to HIS yard when the season gets underway.
they've learned in the past year or two though.

I let some really nice (not quite mature) deer walk last year, so hopefully it will pay off this year.  I will be hunting every weekend, looking for that big mature buck.  I'll keep you updated.  I'll have more pics from my game camera tomorrow night and I'm also putting a 2nd camera up tomorrow.
