HEY! SC is a great state! :)

Ken, if you decide to come down I77 and I85 through SC let me know. There is a nice campground Called Twin Lakes. It is a Corps of Engineers park and it's about 5 hours from the G2G. I can meet you there and shoot the breeze.

For any of you northern folks thinking of runng I65 thru Indy, you need to know that 65 is completely shutdown in downtown Indy for at least the next couple months.  If you come this way plan on running I465 around the city instead.

No Problem. I'll get a longer sleep over on the way. Besides, I just keep driving by until someone comes out and gets me.

Pulling out on Wednesday sometime. According to the almighty google maps, its 13 hours down I-75 which is basically a straight shot, 14 hours down I-65 which bypasses the mountains (also wanted to stop at the Tuskegee Air Museum---who thought that it's actually in DETROIT!  WTH! ), or 16 hours down I-77 which will allow me a drive thru South Carolina (add another state to the old map. )

Going past Detroit, you'll be passing right by my house.  We might be able to meet up and do a decent portion of the run together.

Could possibly do a caravan down. When you say right past Detroit, do you mean I-75 Detroit, I-275 Detroit, or US-23 Detroit (Ann Arbor)?

Knowing that about Indy, I think I will probably scratch that off the list. Major construction/detours seem to test the patience a little more when pulling a trailer.

Nick, still a viable choice. Will let you know for sure.

I still got my old Aero Turbine  4040XL. I'll bring it down with me, if anyone wants it they are welcome to it.

This model has the built in resonator. Still somewhat shiny also.

So it looks like Dale and I won't actually be able to make it.  Stupid money and not having enough of it.

We're still planning to go next year, but we'll miss you guys this year!

Sadly, I will not be around making noise, taking pictures, or hovering over projects being a general pest.   :pout:

I have many camera's to choose from. Should be able to capture the moments.....  :43:

I'm coming down solo, so I have an extra bed if needed. Have to leave early Sunday morning, so if you're a late sleeper you may wake up in Tennessee.

Getting closer. Trying to get all the outdoors stuff done before I head out. Camper pretty much ready to go, just needs a wash. Only worry is the truck. Currently it's still in the body shop and I'm starting to get nervous.  :nail:

Any idea on the weather? Mom in law said that it's still flirting around the high 90's Florida.  Currently here it's been in the low 70's during the day and high 30's/low 40's at night. With the leaves changing its been absolutely beautiful weather up here.
