HELP!! No Reverse!

I just bought a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.2 Magnum, and it runs great...except there is no reverse. Every other gear seems to be fine, I drove it from out of state to get it home and didn't have any problems. Any ideas?

I would look at doing a band adjustment and see what that does.

I had a similar problem with my '89. It took longer and longer to shift from drive to reverse. I did a fluid and filter change, and a band adjustment and have had no more issues.
