ignition power source-03-2500
« on: March 31, 2014, 07:04:58 pm »
Hi all, I'm installing a reverse cam on my 2003 5.7L Ram 2500   and am looking for an ignition power source. I thought there might be a cannon plug under dash that someone can direct me to to ease installation. Thanks

Not sure if your '03 is the same as my '06, but I tapped into the cigarette lighter on my truck for switched power. Pulling the dash to get to it was not too bad a job. There is a write up on it somewhere on the site.

There is a ride up in the Cummins section I believe for a gauge install by Cumminalong that and a voltage tester with a Sharp tip and you should find a hot wire
