should i or dealer be responible for repairs
« on: June 14, 2014, 04:40:54 pm »
I would appreciate any advice on these subject's and thanks in Advance. I bought 2 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan both after having the wiring in power sliding doors shortly after that a wiring harness on each Van started coming a part and wires breaking and striping . But I have been to two dealers the one which done the recall supposedly and one other and they said I am responsible . Me I feel like they need to fix the problems.
And also they done the ac drain grommet recall now it has stopped up soaking my blower motor and carpet.  What are your thoughts it this something I should just cough up the money to get fixed or call the headquarters and see if they can get something done. Thanks for any help on this.
                                 sincerely Dale

It can be a real hard road to get a dealership to do additional repairs, even if they did do work on the component that then failed. If there was a recall that was done check on it again. Sometimes there are related or supplemental recalls related. Might give you something to use.

But most of the time, it's your vehicle, leaving the responsibility on you.
