Been trying to figure out how to mount shocks on the fifth wheel, and can't see any way to do it without cutting a hole in the underbelly cover. I don't want to cut holes. I've seen it done on a few trailers with the shock mounted on the outside, but I don't have the clearance between the frame and the tire. Perplexing problem. Well while going thru my new trailer life magazine low and behold an article on mounting shocks on trailers!
Joy Rider has a complete bolt on kit for shocks on trailer that didn't come with them. Very informative article with lots of pictures. Looks like it's just what I'm looking for. Running out of time right now, but could be a spring time project. Check out the article....

Just an update, these are now available thru camping world. Roughly $275 an axle. Time to make an order.
