Ram Rebel
« on: January 20, 2015, 11:56:34 pm »
A new package coming summer of 2015 looks like.

Quote
True, it's a Ram 1500, but it roams its own roads, alleys and two-tracks with unique blacked-out badging and a huge menacing Ram grille that rolls up into a bulging sport hood. The intimidating stance is completed with 33-inch Toyo® Open Country tires, unique 17-inch aluminum wheels, wheel flares and Active-Level™ Four-Corner Air Suspension that rides an inch higher than normal.

So is this their answer to the raptor? I really like the front end.

Looks like that is what exactly what they are aiming at.  I'm really not sure if I like the front end or not.  Just not sure yet.

Jalopnik doesn't seem to think they are aiming at the Raptor.

I think they're right, it's mostly body work upgrades, not something serious like putting an SRT engine in it and seriously re-working the suspension.

On second thought, I liked the pre-runner look that it had, but now I'm not so sure. I don't think that I like the black ABS looking plastic part...
