Brake Pads
« on: July 12, 2015, 11:34:47 pm »
Hey guys... need to replace the rear brake pads, might as well do the whole set while I'm at it.

If I recall correctly, I have EBCs on front and rears... but I don't know what's what.  Reds, Greens, yellows...  Rotors look good.  I think I can remember how to do them.

I just did mine and went with "stock" pads for the rear. They are only slightly harder than the fronts as you have the drum brake inside the rotor to deal with. My drum brake pads were still in good shape (100k) when i replaced the rotors.

Greens on the front, Yellow on the rear is what I had.
Towing the heavy ass 5'er ate the pads though.

I went ahead and ordered a set of greens and yellows.  probably "just in time" too... the squeaking is getting much more regular...
