They are, six coats of vht nightshades. The bottoms are black vinyl. I'm gonna vht the bottoms in the spring (warmer weather) It'll be a cleaner look imo.

I went to VHT's web site and read that during the day, of course, you see them as black in color. But at night and the lights are on, they appear to be colored red.

Do you have any pic's of the lights on at night to show what they actually look like?

Gotta say that they do look unique.

Them headlights looks sick. Not diggin the stick on hood scoop, but the murder looks bad. I love the Night Runners.

Gotta say that they do look unique.

If you just put a few coats down, thats what happens, I put 6 coats down, with no clear coat, So I doubt it will survive the winter.We will see. With the lights on at night, there is just a hint of purple, but not much. It actually covers well.imo. I saw a few o5's and o4's but The bulbous, (for lack of a better term), headlamps of the o6's and o7's begs to be covered some way , some how. There are vinyl hrd covers, but this is a cleaner look .

Sorry not up on the murder looks bad lingo. Thanks for the headlamps, I like the mean,sick look.lol. As for the scoop, I gotta tell ya, as a 4x4 it 's simply not gonna get much faster than it is. I'm pretty much where I wanna be performance wise, so now it's the cosmetics, And this scoop in particular affords me the ability too make the edges seemless, I just need a heated room for a couple hours. I'm not crazy about the functionality or lack thereof, but it does give me the look I desire.plus I could always stick on a real one. In the future. One mod at a time.lol.

   It goes in the garage all the time, that's why the beater!   And its heated and air conditioned! Makes it nice for working on it!
