NO BUS
« on: January 31, 2016, 03:53:17 am »
Ive read several forums on this topic and have not seen any information regarding pulling all sensors and testing beyond that.
I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota 3.9 and my truck will not start. Just died on me on the way home. It shows NO BUS where the mileage is supposed to be.
I have unplugged the CKP, CMP, TBP, and MAP sensors, turned the key off for 10 seconds, turned it back on and still do not get any 5v reference. I get a 4.8v with a 4.2v signal. While I am not very electrical inclined, if I am getting 4.8v, isn't that close enough to the 5v reference and mean the PCM is good?
Any suggestions besides just buying a new PCM just to find out later that it is something else?
