track bar rod eye
« on: July 27, 2016, 02:03:53 pm »
Good morning all, hey I have an 07 2500 with a 6" lift.  I am getting ready to replace my track bar bushing and want to replace the spherical  rod eye on the other end.  Anyone know where to get one and or what size it might be?  Thanks

If you know someone that can weld, it wouldnt be hard to lop the old one off and weld a bung on the end of the bar. Then, just find a heim joint with the appropriate thread pitch to thread onto your newly customized track bar.

Cheers.

He works in a bloody fabrication shop ... if he doesn't have someone who can weld within back-hand range ... we're all in trouble   Now sneaking the truck into the shop w/o the boss seeing is a whole different story :D
