2007 5.9l manual trans, code P0483 comes up as "fan speed" but what fan also it is a bit hard to start know as well as it idles rough. Still has lots of power just rough. Also when it first happened I was cursing at 75 mph and then there was this loud knocking sound, I thought I threw a rod or something. Shut it down and then restarted knocking gone so I drove it home at about 65 mph but when I would let off the pedal it made whoosh sound like it was sucking air or something. I have done the search on here and there are several on this but they are all mixed views so where do I go for the info I need Help Please

Chances are the wiring harness for the engine cooling fan has been cut by the fan. This is something that is not all that common, however it does happen when the wiring harness to the fan comes loose from its mount and gets sucked into the fan.
