I wonder what happens when one of those guys hit's a pot-hole - those tires have sidewalls too short to provide any protection

I didn't notice it when I first posted this, but you guys are right, the axle broke.  You can see it when the tire hits the wall.

My son had 17's with lopro tires on a lowered s-10 a few years ago. Looked nice as long as you didn't have to drive it anywhere! 5 replacement tires in just less than a year. Hit a curb or pothole just right and POW! there goes another $140. So when it comes to customizing, up is always better than down!
